The Mix
8 cups Crispix (or 4 cups Rice Chex & 4 cups Corn Chex)
5 cups Life Cereal
5 cups HoneyNut Chex
5 cups HoneyNut Cheerios
1 bag Goldfish (6-8 oz)
1/2 bag Bagel Chips (or Ritz toasted chips w/ everything)
4 cups Pretzels (thin sticks or Dots seasoned)
12 oz. Cashew halves and pieces
The Sauce
1 1/2 sticks Butter
1 TBSP Garlic Salt
1 TBSP Accent (MSG)
1 tsp Dry Arbol pepper flakes
1 tsp Ground cayenne pepper
1/2 cup Worchestershire
1/4 to 1/2 cup Franks, Tabasco, Cholula, or hot sauce of choice
Combine all of the mix ingredients in large turkey roasting pan.
Melt butter in saucepan and add the rest of the sauce ingredients.
Bring the sauce to a boil and then pour over the mix and toss.
Place turkey pan uncovered in 250 degree oven.
After 10 minutes, re-toss the mix and continue baking
for a total of 1 hour, tossing every 10 minutes.
After baking, spread out single layer of hot trash on
parchment paper to cool. Usually about 2 hours.
Store cooled trash in three 1-gallon ziploc bags.
